Introduction
This Privacy Policy explains how Clika, Inc. (“Clika”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses, discloses, and otherwise processes information that directly or indirectly relates to an identifiable individual (“Personal Data”) when you (i) visit any Clika website or portal, (ii) sign up for, access, or use the Services (as defined in §1), or (iii) interact with us through support channels, events, or marketing communications. Clika acts as a processor/service provider and will process Personal Data strictly on the Client’s documented instructions.
Information We Collect
- Information you provide
- Examples: name, business e-mail address, billing address, purchase details, feedback, any content you upload (e.g., model files, inference prompts)
- Source: account creation forms, Order Forms, support tickets
- Automatic / usage data
- Examples: IP address, device type, browser, session metadata, API call headers, the route by which you access the Services, limited cookies or similar technologies
- Source: collected automatically by our servers and service-side telemetry
- Payment information
- Examples: tokenized card details, transaction confirmations (Clika never stores full card numbers)
- Source: data supplied by our PCI-DSS-compliant payment processor
- Third-party & derived data
- Examples: identity data received from single-sign-on providers (e.g., GitHub, Google), limited business-to-business marketing information, and inferences such as approximate location derived from IP addresses
- Source: partner APIs, analytics tools
How We Use Personal Data
We use the information described to:
- provide, secure, maintain, and improve the Services;
- authenticate Users and manage accounts;
- process transactions and send transactional or technical notices;
- analyze aggregated usage to troubleshoot and plan capacity;
- send limited marketing communications (opt-out anytime);
- detect, prevent, and respond to abuse or security incidents; and
- comply with legal obligations or enforce our agreements.
Clika does not engage in interest-based advertising across unaffiliated websites. We use first-party analytics cookies only for internal product metrics.
How We Share Personal Data
We disclose Personal Data only:
- Service Providers – cloud-hosting, GPU infrastructure, payments, and customer-support vendors bound by confidentiality and robust security obligations.
- Team Accounts – authorized Client administrators may view billing usage and API statistics generated by their team members.
- Legal & Compliance – when required by law or to protect Clika’s or others’ rights, provided we will (where lawful) give Client prompt notice of any governmental request.
- Corporate Transactions – in connection with a merger, financing, sale, or acquisition, subject to standard confidentiality commitments.
- With Consent – where the Client explicitly instructs us to share data with a third-party integrator or marketplace.
We otherwise share only aggregated or de-identified data that cannot reasonably be used to identify an individual.
Retention & Deletion
Unless a shorter period is specified in an Order Form or the DPA, we retain Personal Data for as long as necessary to: (i) provide the Services; (ii) comply with legal obligations; or (iii) resolve disputes. Client administrators can self-delete many data types (e.g., prompts, models) request deletion by e-mailing business@clika.io.
Your Choices & Rights
- Account controls: edit or delete certain data in the dashboard at any time.
- E-marketing: opt-out via the unsubscribe link or by contacting us.
- Data subject/consumer rights:
- EEA/UK/Swiss residents – right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, or port Personal Data, and to object to certain processing (Art. 15-21 GDPR).
- California residents – rights under the CCPA/CPRA, including to know, delete, and correct Personal Information; Clika does not “sell” Personal Information.
Submit requests to business@clika.io; we will verify and respond within the statutory timeframe.
International Data Transfers
Clika is headquartered in California and uses U.S.-based and global sub-processors. Where required, we rely on EU Standard Contractual Clauses or other lawful transfer mechanisms and will provide evidence of safeguards upon request.
Security
Clika implements administrative, technical, and physical controls aligned with industry frameworks to protect Personal Data. No Internet transmission is 100 % secure; therefore we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children
The Services are intended for business users aged 18 or older. We do not knowingly collect Personal Data from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided Personal Data to us, contact business@clika.io and we will promptly delete it.
Updates to This Policy
We may update this Section 23 periodically. Material changes will be announced via a banner on the Clika portal or by e-mail to the billing contact. Your continued use of the Services after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
